His girlfriend is an American woman named Megan Carr, who is the Staff Director for the House Energy and Commerce committee, who is unaware of his shady connections. His father is Omar Ansari. He is suspected of having terrorist dealings with Kamal Al-Mazri, the brains behind the Brothers in Allah network responsible for a London hotel bombing.
