Simon Fischer is a venture capitalist introduced in season three. His believed to be a Russian spy and assassin and Annie is assigned by Lena Smith to convert him to an asset, by initiating a relationship. They begin a romantic relationship and Annie struggles to separate her personal and professional feelings.Background: Simon was born in Russian but moved to the United Kingdom when he was young. After his father's death, his mother traveled around the world with him, leading the CIA to believe she, too, was a spy. He later attended Cambridge.He is very wealthy and mysterious and he and Annie continue their relationship by meeting in various exotic locations. Simon speaks Arabic, German and Russian in addition to English.He has a younger sister named Zarya and a tattoo of the Big Dipper on his shoulder which holds special significance.
