Kurt is Penny's ex-boyfriend from Nebraska. They were together for four years before she moved to California. Kurt is humongous and scary looking and Leonard Hofstadter is totally intimidated by him. Even though Kurt cheated on her and Penny thinks he's a jerk, it takes her some time to get over him. She asks Leonard and Sheldon Cooper to retrieve her TV from him after their break-up.
