Laroy Wayne is the leader of the One-Niners, a black gang with whom SAMCRO often has business dealings, misunderstandings and the occasional bout of violence. Based in Oakland, the One-Niners are heavily involved in gun-running and heroin. Laroy conducts all the negotiations for his gang and becomes involved in the season two fight against the white separatist League of American Nationalists. The One-Niners don't typically deal directly with the Mayans, the Mexican-American gang. Laroy is generally even-tempered and reasonable. His girlfriend in season four is Veronica Pope, whose father, Damon Pope, is a major gang player.
