Marilyn Bauer is the wife of Graem Bauer -- Jack Bauer's brother -- and the mother of Josh Bauer. She had once been in a relationship with Jack, but that ended rather unceremoniously when Jack left for reasons that she did not immediately understand. Her family is threatened by the detonation of a nuclear bomb.
