This character (played by Raj Bose) appears twice in LOST's second season, Episode 4, Everybody Hates Hugo. He is supposed to have sold the winning Lotto ticket to Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes (played by Jorge Garcia) at a convenience store located at a gas station. He first appears in Hurley's dream, dressed up in a chicken suite. This is due to the constant feeling of guilt Hurkey has because he had kept his winning a secret from his friend who used to work with him at a fried chicken restuarant. The clerk appears again towards the end of the episode when Hurley recollects the day he was spotted by by him at the same gas station, when the clerk was being interviewed by the local TV crew. When the clerk spotted Hurley, he exclaimed loudly to the TV crew, That's the guy ! That's the guy ! The clerk ran towards Hurley's car and everyone followed him. That is how Hurley's identity as the Lotto winner was revealed to everyone, including his friend who felt betrayed because Hurley had kept his winning a secret from him. The clerk has not appeared again in any other episode, however, since he is an integral part of Hurley's past, there is a chance he might reappear in some future episode.
