Minister Pius Thicknesse was a pure-blood wizard and a Ministry of Magic official. During the Second Wizarding War, he became Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and later Lord Voldemort's puppet Minister for Magic while under the Imperius Curse, until he was ousted from power following the conclusion of the Battle of Hogwarts. His life after he was freed from the Imperius Curse is unknown.
