A widower, Noah Daniels is the Vice President of the United States in the administration of President Wayne Palmer. A tough and experienced politician, he was chosen for the ticket of the younger Palmer to offset the presidential candidates youth and seeming inexperience. It's a good call as Palmer not only wins the presidency, but Daniels is soon called upon to take on more responsibilities than his initial office demands.
