Richard Fenton is a highschool teacher from the 2008 movie Prom Night. He became obbsessed with his student Donna Keppel. after her parents got a restraining order, he broke into the Keppel house at night, killing Donna's father, little brother, and mother, (whom Donna watches get killed while she is hiding under a bed) in a furious attempt to find her. He was caught and put away in a maximum sequrity prison but he broke out, three days before Donna's prom night, 3 years later to see her. While trying to reach her he kills many people such as a hotel maid, a male hotel employee, a police officer, an unnamed male (whose car Fenton stole) and many of Donna's friends including a girl name Claire, a boy named Michael, Her best friend Lisa, and her boyfriend Bobby. Fenton is later killed by Detective Winn by gunshot when he attempts to stab Donna.Trivia * Before Fenton was imprisioned he had long hair and was unshaven, when he returns 3 years later he is shaven. This is likely due to Prison requirments * Detective Winn states that while in prison, Fenton sent multiple love letters to Donna, which he described as some sick shit. * A Photo can be seen of Donna in class being taught by Fenton, they are both in lab coats, suggesting that Fenton may have been a Science teacher * Lisa, Donna's best friend, remembers Fenton when they bump into each other in the hall and tries to warn Donna. She is killed shortly after.
