Robbie Shapiro is a shy ventriloquist who attends Hollywood Arts High School. He is never without his dummy Rex Powers, who is confident and good with girls, unlike Robbie. Robbie is overly attached to his puppet and sees him as an alter-ego, and they frequently get into arguments.Robbie is insecure and not very good with girls and tends to go overboard to impress them.His resemblance to comedian Andy Samberg is a running joke, which Robbie does not understand. He can play the harmonica and guitar. He has a knack for technology and uses a giant PearPad (like an oversized Apple iPad).
