Sheriff Shelby Parlow
Before he became sheriff, Shelby worked as the chief of security for the Black Pike Mining Company and also had a long stint with the Harlan Police Department. Though mixed up with the Crowder clan, he appears to rise to a higher moral standard and sometimes works with U.S. Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens on investigations, such as the infamous Drew Thompson case and others.
