Aloysius Tector Murphy is a fighter with the 2nd Massachusetts Militia Regiment. Before the invasion, he was a Gunnery Sergeant with the U.S. Marine Corps. Because of his background he is often called upon to act as a sniper for the 2nd Mass. He is recruited by John Pope to join his Berserkers, a ragtag group of fighters. He is good friends with Boon, another fighter.Background: He served two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, where his unit was ambushed and three of his fellow Marines were killed. He admits to Weaver that he feels guilty about their deaths because he was sleep deprived at the time.
