Terry Crowley is not around long, but his killing provides the basis for the several years in which Vic Mackey must maintain the secret of his original sin -- pulling the trigger against a fellow officer. Crowley was brought to The Barn by David Aceveda to take over the Strike Team if Mackey were to falter, but Vic kills him after learning that Crowley is about to testify against him.
