Tina Blake is Chris Hargensen's best friend and accomplice. She assists Chris in tormenting Carrie White, especially when Chris isn't there. She throws tampons at Carrie while she gets her period, and expresses her enjoyment of the video Chris made of Carrie in the shower. She apparently has a heart condition, which may be a reason why she likes to look down on Carrie; she seduces English teacher Mr. Ulmann in order to make insensitive and rude comments toward Carrie in class. At prom, she sneaks Billy and Chris inside the prom, and switches the ballots to make Tommy and Carrie win Prom King and Queen. She also tells Carrie in a sarcastic tone: Good luck kids, you've got my vote. After the pig's blood is dumped on Carrie, Tina plays the video of Carrie's incident in the shower through her laptop, and projecting it onto two large screens at the prom. She laughs hysterically at the humiliation she helped create; but after Carrie's telekinetic rampage comes, Tina tries to escape with Mr. Ulmann; but Carrie throws a flaming crescent moon toward them. She stares at Carrie, both regretfully and fearful, as wires come flying toward her; they start to whip her repeatedly until she steps into a flame, which ignites her whole dress on fire, and eventually burns to death.
