Tom Mr. Friendly is the second of The Others that the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 encounter. He takes part in kidnapping at least one of the survivors and is loyal to his group, wanting to exact revenge on the survivors for having killed some of The Others. Despite this, he is seen as a friendly guy -- hence the name -- and doesn't much like the sight of blood.
