Toshiko Sato's is a computer and technical genius for Torchwood, she creates, improves, translates, and analyses countless tools and technologies for Torchwood as well as studying alien technology and languages.Commonly known as Tosh, she first appears in the first season Doctor Who episode, The Aliens of London. She is referred to as Dr. Sato and is asked to investigate an apparent alien that she and The Doctor discover to be a normal domestic Earth pig that had been surgically manipulated.Tosh is extremely shy and avoids confrontations with her colleagues at nearly any cost.
