Detective Dani Reese is Charlie Crews new partner and second generation Police Officer. Daughter of retired Detective Jack Reese, Dani is feisty and temperamental using her cutting wit and sarcasm to keep those who try to get close to her at arms length. As an ex undercover drug agent and recovering addict she is being manipulated by those around her to keep tabs on Reese and his monitor his ability on the job. Adding to her problems, Crews seems obsessed with her father Jack Reese who she herself has a difficult relationship with.
