Daphne Landry is a waitress at Merlotte's Bar and Grill, although she is not very good at her job. She is a shapeshifter whose most common shift is a pig. She begins a relationship with her boss and fellow shapeshifter Sam, but her interest in him is not pure. She is one of the many people of Bon Temps affected by Maryann Forrester, the meddling maenad.
