Jess Merriweather is the daughter of a one-time championship quarterback from East Dillon High School. He came to resent the school and the sport, but her love of football doesn't fade. She carries the burden of caring for her three younger brothers and working at her family's restaurant, but hopes to keep football as a part of her life in the long run.
