Kai Opaka is the spiritual leader of Bajor toward the end of the Cardassian Occupation and beginning of independence. She is one of the most revered figures in Bajoran culture. She rose to prominence serving the will of the Prophets. She is capable of making extremely difficult decisions to benefit the greater good and carries a large secret about one of these.
