Lt. Davis is Detective Crews and Reese's direct supervisor. She has been warned that she must find a way to get rid of Crews or the L.A.P.D. risks losing face in more ways then one. She uses her friendship with Detective Reese as well as her past addiction to force Reese to help her find a way to get rid of Charlie Crews, or face losing the job she has fought so hard to keep. Despite the pressure on her from her superiors to drum Crews out of the Detectives squad, she finds a begrudgingly respects for Crews and his odd way of looking at the world which seems to be working well when solving murders.
