Luther (surname presumably McDonald) is Mac's father, a former meth dealer who was sent to prison. He has an intense, bug-eyed appearance due to the fact that he rarely blinks. In his first appearance (named Bill in the credits), Mac and Charlie visit him in prison in an effort to bond with him, and he tries to get them to smuggle heroin into the facility.
