Rickety Cricket was a high school classmate of the gang's who wore huge leg braces and developed a crush on Sweet Dee, who had scoliosis and was in a large back brace through high school. After high school, he became a priest and that's where he reconnects with the gang. His crush on Sweet Dee still burns strongly and despite having no interest in him whatsoever, she often uses his feelings for her as the basis for tricking him into doing whatever she wants. Rickety Cricket's rekindled connection to the gang results in his life taking a distinct turn downward.
