Charlie's mom Bonnie is a soft-spoken woman who has a knack for getting into bad relationships. She has a string of irrational fears and a particularly formidable case of obsessive compulsive disorder. She was said to have tried to have an abortion when she was pregnant with Charlie, but it didn't take and Charlie was born three months later. She is also not attracted to Dennis, which drives him crazy.
