Natasha Tasha is Lux's best friend. They met when they were 7 years old in a group home and remained best friends even though they were placed in different foster and group homes over the years. At first Tasha is afraid of losing Lux when Lux starts her new life. Eventually, with help from Lux, Cate, Ryan and a social worker named Fern, they find a way to keep Tasha close to Lux. They are able to go to the same school, live near each other and try to live as normal kids .
