Tansy Truitt returned to the bucolic Southern burg of Bluebell, Alabama seeing to make better choices and turn her life around. She had formerly been married to town bad boy Wade Kinsella, but the pair fought almost constantly and separated within months of getting hitched on a shrimp boat. After returning to Bluebell, she catches the eye of a number of the town's gentlemen, including Todd Gainey Jr. and George Tucker.When she's not embroiled in romantic relationship drama, Tansy works as a certified cosmetologist. She also continues the trend seemingly started by Mayor Lavon Hayes of naming pets after 1970s/80s luminaries by the calling her own dog Dolly Parton (the mayor's alligator is called Burt Reynolds).
