Harold Krenshaw lives in San Fransisco with his wife and son. He is the president of the San Fransisco school board. Harold was a patient of Dr. Charles Kroger until the Doctor's untimely death. Harold suffers from acute narcissism, paranoia, and believes that Adrian Monk is obsessed with him, but according to Monk, If anyone is obsessed with anyone, he is obsessed with me. Harold and Mr. Monk first met when Sharona believed she might be going crazy. Mr. Monk and Harold have many of the same mannerisms but seem to be completely opposite of each other.
