Sharona Fleming grew up in New Jersey with her sister Gail. She later got her nursing degree and became a nurse for Adrian Monk. After getting to know him really well, she became his full time assistant. Sharona, Gail, Benjey (her preteen son), and Monk all lived in San Fransisco, California until she remarried her ex and moved back to NJ. She is best known for her witty humour and wonderful curly hair. (And keeping Monk in line!)
