Margaret Murphy is an administrator at St. Thomas Hospital, and Tara's boss. She doesn't understand why Tara is with Jax and makes her dislike of him well-known. She is by-the-book and causes problems for Tara when she tries to bend the rules to benefit club members. She is also protective of Tara in a way, seeing her as a great talent.
